One of the best things about being a newborn photographer is getting to snuggle with gorgeous little bubbas like this little guy. Mason was such a sweet, snuggly little man, and he absolutely made my job super easy. I often joke and say that being a newborn photographer is great because I get to give them back at the end, but if they were all as chilled as Mason I would definitely keep them all.
Mason's mum and dad chose a fairly neutral colour palette of blue, cream and brown for their styling, so we created a set of images that work beautifully together.
This shot of Mason in the rustic timber bucket was Dad's favourite...
Mason's big sister Koa was so gentle and sweet with him. She absolutely adores her baby brother and I can see she's going to spoil him with love as he gets older. The bond between siblings is a really beautiful thing to witness, and I love capturing that love for their parents in beautiful photographs.
How about that cheeky little smile...
The last shot of the session was a bit more artistic. I love this photograph because it shows how tiny Mason was in his Daddy's arms and that's something we often forget as time goes by.
Mason's parents chose the Classic Collection of 10 matted prints and digital files because they wanted to create a photo feature wall in their new home, and this collection is perfect for DIY framing. They also purchased an artisan wood print featuring Dad's favourite image.
